This Giving Tuesday, Help Bring Comfort and Joy! With your support this Giving Tuesday, we can train more Therapy Teams to bring comfort and connection to people facing physical, emotional, and cognitive challenges across Central Alabama and Tuscaloosa. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a BIG impact!

Mutt Strut
Our annual dog-friendly 5k and 1-mile fun run! Hand in Paw's 15th Annual Mutt Strut: Dog-Friendly 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run will take place at Homewood Central Park on Saturday, April 5! It will be a pawesome day in the great outdoors full of exciting races, contests, and vendors — all while supporting a wonderful cause!
Picasso Pets
Our signature auction featuring a chic cocktail reception, star therapy animals, delectable drinks and hors d'oeuvres, and a live auction.
Picasso Pets 2024 will take place on Saturday, August 17 from 6-10pm at The Harbert Center!
Barktoberfest
Our Oktoberfest-style "friendraiser" where guests enjoy local beer and participate in fun contests!
Join us on Thursday, October 17, from 6–9 pm at Cahaba Brewing Company. Enjoy a spirited pet costume contest where furry friends show off their Halloween best, a photo booth, and a stein hoist competition for those ready to test their strength.
