The 16th Annual Mutt Strut: Dog-Friendly 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run, sponsored by Creative Dog Training, returns to Homewood Central Park on Saturday, April 11 from 7:30 a.m. to noon.

Get ready for the 2nd Annual BarkBash 2026! BarkBash is a community-focused benefit event hosted by Three Dimensional Dog Training to support Hand in Paw. It will be an afternoon filled with live music from Plastic Gems, a local food truck, and interactive activities like "paw print painting" and a professional doggie photo booth.
These events occur every year and are our biggest fundraisers!
Mutt Strut
Hand in Paw's 16th Annual Mutt Strut: Dog-Friendly 5k and 1 Mile, presented by Creative Dog Training, Fun Run will take place at Homewood Central Park on Saturday, April 11! It will be a pawesome day in the great outdoors full of exciting races, contests, and vendors.
Picasso Pets
Our signature auction featuring a chic VIP cocktail reception, therapy animals, signature drinks, a seated dinner, and silent and live auctions. The 25th Annual Picasso Pets will take place on Saturday, August 22, 2026 from 6-10 pm at Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum.
Barktoberfest
Our Oktoberfest-inspired "friendraiser" is Saturday, October 16, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Cahaba Brewing Company. Enjoy a spirited pet costume contest where furry friends show off their Halloween best, a photo booth, and a stein hoist competition for those ready to test their strength.
