Three Dimensional Dog is hosting BarkBash 2025 — a community celebration featuring live music from Plastic Gems, free food and drinks, and a chance to create one-of-a-kind artwork with your dog. There will be a raffle, great company, and all proceeds support Hand in Paw’s Animal-Assisted Therapy programs. On-leash, sociable dogs welcome.

The 24th Annual Picasso Pets, presented by VPFunds, will take place on Saturday, August 23 from 6-10 p.m. at Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum. Our signature event, Picasso Pets helps bring Animal-Assisted Therapy to those who need it most.
These events occur every year and are our biggest fundraisers!
Mutt Strut
Our annual dog-friendly 5k and 1-mile fun run! Hand in Paw's 15th Annual Mutt Strut: Dog-Friendly 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run will take place at Homewood Central Park on Saturday, April 5! It will be a pawesome day in the great outdoors full of exciting races, contests, and vendors — all while supporting a wonderful cause!
Picasso Pets
Our signature auction featuring a chic cocktail reception, star therapy animals, delectable drinks and hors d'oeuvres, and a live auction.

Barktoberfest
Our Oktoberfest-style "friendraiser" where guests enjoy local beer and participate in fun contests!
Join us on Thursday, October 17, from 6–9 pm at Cahaba Brewing Company. Enjoy a spirited pet costume contest where furry friends show off their Halloween best, a photo booth, and a stein hoist competition for those ready to test their strength.
