CONGRATS to Pam Strange, the 2018 Volunteer of the Year!
Pam has been a devoted volunteer with HIP since 2013. She has had 3 therapy dogs with our organization: Maylee, Gracie and Niblet. She visits regularly for Hand in Paw both in Jefferson and Shelby counties at over 6 community partner sites and is also an HIP Evaluator and Ambassador. We are so pleased to honor Pam for her tireless efforts to share our mission throughout Central Alabama.
The Carol Speed Volunteer of the Year Award is voted on by fellow Hand in Paw peers and volunteers and announced at the annual Holiday Party. To show our appreciation, Pam received a commemorative trophy, certificate, 2 tickets to Picasso Pets, free Mutt Strut registrations, a feature in our Golden Newsletter, and a feature in our social media.
